A Letter From Our CEO on K2 Integrity
Below is a letter from our CEO, president, and co-founder, Jeremy Kroll, on the transition to K2 Integrity and how the firm operates with integrity in its business, its community, and with each other.
Recently, we announced [link to press release] our new name: K2 Integrity. What prompted this change? Below is a letter from our CEO, president, and co-founder, Jeremy Kroll, on the transition to K2 Integrity and how the firm operates with integrity in its business, its community, and with each other.
When we think about the world we live in, and the importance of the work we do, integrity is the key ingredient in how we operate as a firm.
In today’s evolving landscape, ethical conduct and trust are in high demand, and sometimes perceived as in short supply. Integrity serves as our North Star – in our business, in our communities, and with each other, and drives us to be the best versions of ourselves each and every day.
K2 Integrity not only reinforces how we operate as a firm, but the principles the industry was founded on back in 1972, integrity and transparency. I can’t help but reflect on and carry the words of our co-founder and founder of the corporate investigations industry, Jules Kroll: “Do no harm, do the right thing, and do what you promised to do.”
Integrity in our business
All parts of our company need to be responsible and accountable for fostering a culture of integrity and trust while serving clients; that is what sets K2 Integrity apart.
In everything we do we are committed to embracing our core values. As a result, we are proud of what we have come to stand for: good, honest outcomes; a reputation for investigative, analytic, and advisory excellence; and the independence and insight we bring to each representation.
We take our responsibility and commitment to our clients seriously, embodying integrity in every client engagement we have. But our commitment does not end there.
With each other
Following our merger in September 2019 K2 Intelligence and Financial Integrity Network (FIN) recognized the need to not just merge our teams, but our identity. Both teams held a strong belief in leading by example, sharing successes, and taking responsibility when something went wrong.
Together, we are committed to a work environment – both within our four walls and the extended places we do business – in which all individuals are treated with respect and dignity. Our team also recognizes and embraces the differences and unique talents that each employee brings to the table.
At all times, we listen, are thoughtful, and respectful to everyone, and stand strongly against prejudice and hate.
In our communities
We are ever-more connected and engrained into the communities we live, serve, and play.
Throughout our history, and now as K2 Integrity, we have been and continue to be devoted to investing time and resources through philanthropic efforts within our communities, both as a firm and as individual contributors.
As with many businesses around the globe, we consistently challenge ourselves both as a firm and as individuals to take a deep look inward to how we operate as a team and in the communities we serve. We know there is work to be done, and we pledge to continue to be committed to our communities and drive positive outcomes beyond just our business.
